The tasks
Expected results
- Conduct E2E projects that deliver excellence and innovation of the logistics processes and improve productivity.
- Improve the overall logistics organization.
- Continuous improvement of Group-wide KPIs.
- Develop and implement the overall group strategy for infrastructure, supply chain excellence, and quality to drive growth and competitive advantage while mitigating risk.
- Plan and achieve ambitious KPIs with a strong focus on driving performance and budget planning.
- Lead infrastructure investment planning and management while emphasizing the optimization of network capacity and configuration, and physical flow of goods end-to-end.
- Clear all Board and Investment Committee proposals well in advance of formal submission and approval of investment decisions.
- Define group-wide objectives, targets, and KPIs for functional area(s); develop and monitor measures and provide group interventions as appropriate.
- Sponsor and enable LEAN framework and training academy roll-out, embed principles as a mindset within ways of working across the group.
- Lead global SCM initiatives, and drive E2E projects EG. sector, market, and competitor scanning.
Your profile
- Completed bachelor's degree or higher
- Several years of experience in international Operations/Logistics with leadership and P&L responsibility.
- Successfully managed and further developed global and local functions involving strategy development and delivery of optimized operational processes and SCM services.
- Strong conceptual analytical skills with the ability to strategize, shape strategic decisions, and implement successfully.
- Fluent in German and English
